No matter how large or small, bequests
are very special gifts that provide us with both the opportunity
to expand our services to people with autism and the confidence
to plan for the future. To this end we ensure that a proportion
of the funds received through bequests is invested for long term
growth and security. They are an opportunity to give something
to a cause you have supported for many years, or an opportunity
to make a larger gift than was possible during your life time. Much
has been achieved through bequests made to charities and to make
such a decision is very special.
We urge you to consider including
a bequest to Aspect in your will. No matter how large or small,
it is an opportunity for you to make a significant difference to
the lives of people with autism. Gifts to an approved charity such
as Autism Spectrum Australia are tax deductible and can assist in
reducing the tax liability* of your estate after you have passed.
If you are thinking of leaving something
in your will and would like some more information we would be
happy to send you a copy of our booklet A Simple Guide
to Wills and Bequests. You can send
an e-mail to our Fundraising team to have the booklet
mailed out to you. Alternatively you can phone Fundraising
on 02 8977 8300.
* Bequests to charitable institutions
may not reduce tax liability in all situations. This information
is general and does not take into account your personal circumstances.
As such you should seek and rely upon your own legal/financial advice
with reference to your particular circumstances before choosing
to leave a bequest.

leave a bequest to Autism Spectrum Australia, we would like to extend
an invitation to become a member of the Acacia Circle. The Acacia
Circle is a way for us to recognise, honour and personally thank,
those people who have pledged this very special type of gift, during
their lifetime.
The letters in Acacia stand for "Autistic
Children, All Children In Australia" and was the name of the original
fundraising committee who worked tirelessly from 1966 onwards to
raise funds and awareness for the organisation.
